What we collect
Account data: your name, email, and password hash. Essay data: the essay text you paste, the school you selected, and the critique we generate. Usage data: pages viewed and basic device information.
How we use your essays
We send essay text to a third-party AI provider (Google Gemini) only to generate your critique. The provider's terms prohibit using submitted content for model training. We store the essay and critique in your account so you can revisit them. We do not share essays with any other third party.
No training on your essays
We do not use your essays to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any AI model — our own or anyone else's.
Your rights
You can delete individual essays or your entire account at any time from your account page. Deletion is immediate and permanent. We do not retain backups beyond 30 days.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. We store only the Stripe customer ID needed to issue refunds.
Analytics
We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages convert. No analytics provider sees the content of your essays.
